Join us for the presentations “In Vitro-In Vivo Extrapolation of New Approach Methods and Inhalation Toxicity” and “In Vivo Inhalation Toxicity Data and Calibrated Assessments.”
Date and time: Thursday, 11 December 2025, 1:15 – 2:00 pm ET
Presenters:
John Wambaugh, Ph.D., Principal Computational Exposure and Toxicokinetic Research Scientist, UL Chemical Insights Research Institute
John Wambaugh leads our research into in vitro-in vivo extrapolation (IVIVE), toxicokinetics, and exposure science. He will provide expertise in applied statistics, machine learning, and new approach methods (NAMs). He will also develop new mathematical models for critical processes in chemical safety assessment.
Chelsea Weitekamp, Ph.D., Computational Toxicology Research Scientist, UL Chemical Insights Research Institute
Chelsea A. Weitekamp conducts advanced computational research to support the institute’s mission of advancing human and environmental health. She will work to build databases and models that integrate, analyze, and interpret in vitro and in vivo toxicological data to assess potential human hazard and health risks.
A&WMA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization that aims to foster professional development and decision-making among members, with the goal of increasing global environmental responsibility and the effectiveness of organizations to make critical decisions that benefit society.
