Zachary Stanfield, Ph.D., is the lead exposure data scientist at UL Research Institutes’ Chemical Insights. Zachary will be tasked with building out Chemical Insights’ exposure data infrastructure for existing and new data streams, including public databased sources on products, laboratory-generated content, live environmental sensors, and biomonitoring sources. He will develop, update, and extend new and existing exposure models to better understand and estimate chemical human exposures. He will also work with exposure scientists across centers to support related computational or data projects.
Prior to joining Chemical Insights, Zachary worked as a contractor supporting the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. He brings experience in exposure sciences, computational modeling, and data integration. He earned a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in systems biology and bioinformatics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from North Carolina State University.
