Troy Ferland, Ph.D., is a research scientist specializing in computational non-targeted analysis (NTA) at UL Research Institutes’ Chemical Insights. He is responsible for building databases and applications for NTA data and collaborating with other researchers on the environmental impacts of fires at the wildland urban interface (WUI).

The Wildlife-Urban Interface (WUI) Fire Engineering Summit brings together academics, local officials, first responders, and other stakeholders to collaborate on shared challenges and work together to shape the future of fire engineering.
