Haylee Young is a Research Scientist I at the Center for Toxicology and Human Health within UL Research Institutes’ Chemical Insights, where she focuses on PFAS dermal studies, cell models, and omics analyses.

She holds a B.S. in Biochemistry, Cellular & Molecular Biology, with a minor in Public Health from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Young is currently pursuing a M.S. in toxicology from Michigan State University.

Young previously worked at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on PDX models for tumor development and at Sorrento Therapeutics on drug development and medical device testing for lymphatic delivery. She volunteers with Remote Area Medical Clinics and the Alzheimer’s Association.
