Patrick Chepaitis is a Laboratory Manager at UL Research Institutes’ Chemical Insights, focusing on chemical emissions from consumer products and technologies like electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS). He oversees the Center for Advanced Measurements and the analytical instruments used for identifying chemicals in research projects.

Patrick holds an M.S. in Chemistry from Georgia State University and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His background includes an internship in environmental coal particle emissions and graduate research in glycan signaling and DNA repair modeling. He spent seven years as a forensic chemist with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, where he analyzed evidence submissions for controlled substances.

He is an active member of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
