TJ Caldwell is a senior frontend software engineer at UL Research Institutes’ Chemical Insights, where he contributes to the design and development of the user interface of the institute’s data platform. He works closely with researchers, data scientists, and engineers to build new interfaces and tools to expand the functionality and accessibility of the institute’s research outcomes.

TJ’s background is rooted in data analytics, building enterprise-grade analytics tooling and visualizations for a product analytics software company. Having spent years building tools to optimize customer experiences with software, building robust and intuitive user interfaces in collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders drives his approach to software development.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
